We ordered the NoJo Jungle Babies valance, but we were dissatisified with the quality as there are loose strings sewn on the inside that cannot be removed. They are visible when displayed in the light. We contacted the company that makes NoJo products and their response was to just return the items to Amazon.com for new ones. It is not that simple as we placed and received the items a while ago and only realized the defects when we went to set up our nursery. It is not just this separate valance. The valance from NoJo’s six piece bedding set that we ordered had the same issue. With some patience, the strings can be strategically pushed behind the animals and not look as bad, but it would be nice to receive products in which the company takes the time to esnure they look nice right from the start. Thanks!

This valance is way cute! I really like it. The only problem is that it seems to be an odd size. It is way wider than I had realized it would be. I read the other reviews AFTER I ordered and I see this is a general complaint. The problem is easily fixed by a quick sewing alteration. Other than the size, the item is of great quality and the colors are great. It matches the other Nojo Jungle Babies items perfectly. Overall, I would recommend this item; just know it measures 18″ x 59″.

this product made me crazy! I needed two for a medium sized window in the baby’s room. I discovered after purchasing 4 of these that none of them were consistent in sizing…each were an inch or more off when you hung them up. Had to pay more money to have a seamstress correct the differences!

We love the animals in this valance- so cute! The colors are softer (in a good way) than the picture. In fact, we loved the yellow so much that we matched our paint color of the baby’s room to it (used Benjamin Moore “lemon drops”). Yes, it did need ironing, and yes there were some loose strings inside visible when held up to bright light, as earlier reviewers said. however, I expected the ironing and on ours we were able to work the strings closer to the seam (and we don’t get a lot of bright light on that window anyway). Overall we are extremely happy with this purchase.

We really like these valances. They have such cute characters on them. We highly recommend them! The only downfall is having to iron them after they come out of the dryer, but it’s worth it!
